Last week, we hosted the annual Florida Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (FAEOPP) Student Leaders Conference, February 18-20, 2010. The conference brought together pre- collegiate and undergraduate students from across the state. More than 275 participants from 18 institutions (Pensacola to Miami) attend this three-day event. The last day of the conference was a Mentoring Summit sponsored in part by funding from the Tiger Woods Foundation. Our students served as session moderators, introduced speakers, presented awards, and served as all around hosts. They were magnificent. Conference attendees were so impressed by our scholars. I am very proud of them all!
